Two effective treatments offered at our clinic include: Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) & Regenera Activa
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a hair transplant surgery where healthy hair follicles are moved from areas of the head, usually at the back of the head, to areas where you would like thick, luscious hair to grow.
FUE is superior to older technologies of hair transplant, as the technique involves moving individual follicular hair units one at a time. The benefits of this is minimal scarring, minimal downtime and little pain.
To extract healthy hair follicles, tiny punctures are created around these follicles and then extracted. The area where follicles are extracted from is called donor sites. The grafts are then harvested and implanted into the target areas of the scalp.
Regenera Activa is a hair growth treatment that stimulates the growth of existing hair. It also helps to slow down the rate of hair loss, and hence delays the onset of balding.
Regenerative cells from healthy areas of your scalp are brought over to areas with thinning hair, to stimulate the revitalisation of existing hair follicles—which have deteriorated but are still alive and functioning.
When it comes to hair loss, it is important that you seek medical attention early, at an early stage of hair loss. Seeking treatment only when very little or no hair is left is not advisable as the treatment options are limited.
